Dutch Bros Brookings raises more than $700 for Monique Kelley’s medical expenses

March 23, 2018

BROOKINGS, Ore. (March 23, 2018) – Dutch Bros Brookings raised more than $700, Friday, March 16 at their 16261 Highway 101 location for Monique Kelley, the daughter of a local family who was left paralyzed from the chest down after a vehicle accident in January. This happened only a short time after her brother, Kevin Mayo, was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident.

“We would like to thank everyone who stopped by to show support for Monique and her family,” said Tony Jantzer, owner of Dutch Bros Brookings. “Through the generosity of our community we were able to raise funds for Monique as she recovers.”

On Friday, March 16, $1 from every drink purchased was donated to the Kelley family. The funds raised will directly benefit Monique Kelley to assist with medical expenses and necessary adaptive equipment.

“We hope that this gift, as well as the love and support from our small town will have a positive impact on the Kelley family.”
