Dutch Bros Phoenix to Raise Funds for Family of Christian Nagel

January 17, 2018

PHOENIX, Ariz. (Jan. 17, 2018) – On Saturday, Jan. 20, Dutch Bros Phoenix will provide a mobile unit to serve drinks at 3810 E Ray Rd. The proceeds from every drink sold between 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. will be donated to the family of Christian Nagel, a 20 year-old Ahwatukee resident who was set to leave for the Air Force, but was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident earlier this month.

Christian’s employer, Purcell Auto has offered their parking lot to Dutch Bros on Saturday Jan. 20, allowing Dutch Bros to hold the fundraiser in Christian’s community.

“Christian left behind an amazing father, a girlfriend, and many loved ones. When we heard the news about this we immediately wanted to help, and decided that providing our mobile unit for the fundraiser was a way that we could offer our support,” said Josh Hayes, General Manager of Dutch Bros Phoenix.

On Saturday Jan. 20, between 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., proceeds from every drink sold at the Dutch Bros mobile unit, located at Purcell Auto on 3810 E Ray Rd., will be donated to the family of Christian Nagel. Funds raised will help assist in offsetting funeral expenses.
