SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Oct. 1, 2016) – To celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month, all Sacramento area Dutch Bros locations will donate proceeds from the sale of its specialty “Be Aware” travel mugs to the Albie Aware to support local women and men receive proper diagnoses and support.
Beginning on Saturday, Oct. 1, these specialty travel mugs will be available at all locations. Dutch Bros will donate $5 from the sale of every mug to raise awareness and funds.
“We are honored to be apart of a community effort to make a difference and support Albie Aware,” says the local owner of the Sacramento, Citrus Heights and Fair Oaks Dutch Bros locations Nikol Grubbs. “Breast cancer touches so many lives we feel blessed to be able to serve people in our community. We love giving back because we’ve been given so much!”
Dutch Bros locations in the Sacramento area will donate these proceeds to Albie Aware, a local nonprofit that began in 2004. Donated funds will support this organization as they continue to help community members receive proper diagnoses, as well as to support those who are currently fighting breast cancer. At its core, Albie Aware strives to provide awareness for breast cancer prevention, treatment and financial support programs for those in need.
Locations in Sacramento, Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks, Elk Grove, Auburn, Rocklin, Granite Bay, Roseville, Davis, Dixon, and Woodland are participating. To find a location near you, please visit www.dutchbros.com/locations
