Dutch Bros West Burnside Celebrates Grand Opening and Raises Over $2,300 for Fields for All

PORTLAND, Ore. (Dec. 8, 2016) – On Sunday, Nov. 27, Dutch Bros partnered with Fields for All and the Portland community to raise $2,325 for the local organization in celebration of Dutch Bros’ first bike-thru location, located at 2057 W. Burnside.

Fields for All is a collaborative field building organization that is supported through a partnership between Operation Pitch Invasion, the Portland Timbers and Portland Thorns FC Stand Together community platform, and their partners. Fields For All builds youth soccer fields and futsal courts that provide the youth of Portland with safe playing fields.

On grand opening day Dutch Bros West Burnside offered customers $1 medium drinks with proceeds from the day benefitting Fields for All. The proceeds will support the organization as they continue to build soccer fields and futsal courts that provide local youth organized and safe outlets for play.

“It was a great experience partnering with Fields for All and the Portland Timbers, as they do so much for our local community,” said Kevin Murphy, Dutch Bros NW Portland owner. “We look forward to having a large, positive, impact in the Nob Hill neighborhood with our new coffee house.”

This new location is the first Dutch Bros of its kind, operating as a Dutch Bros coffee house with a bike-thru lane. The bike-thru lane will enable Dutch Bros West Burnside to better serve the cycling community of Portland. This location also has a full-service walk-in feature and patio, where the community can experience the Dutch Bros culture and service in a more intimate environment. Open daily from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., Dutch Bros West Burnside is ready to serve.
