DAVIS, Calif. (Oct. 4, 2016) – On Friday Oct. 7, Dutch Bros locations in Auburn, Citrus Heights, Davis, Dixon, Elk Grove, Fairfield, Fair Oaks, Granite Bay, Oakley, Rocklin, Roseville, Sacramento, and Woodland, Calif., as well as locations in Albany, Ore. will donate proceeds from the day’s sale to honor the life of Ashley Vargas-Pritt.
Ashley Vargas-Pritt, known for her “heart of gold”, unexpectedly lost her life on Sept. 21. Ashley, an Albany local, was a devoted wife, friend, sister, and a tremendous mother her two children: Avah and Jack. She had very close ties to Dutch Bros as she watched her brother, Ryan on his journey with the company, starting in Albany and moving into his current position as the Regional Manager in Davis. He has positively impacted the lives of many in both communities, as well as in the Dutch Bros family. When the news broke, both area franchisees, Sean Provost and Aaron Eastman, wanted to support their employee in his and his family’s time of need.
“When a part of our family is in need we all want to help,” said Sean Provost, owner Dutch Bros Woodland, Davis and Dixon. “I hope we can really support this amazing family at such a difficult time.”
On Friday, all locations will donate proceeds from the day in support of the Vargas’ as they transition through this unforeseen chapter of their lives. Funds will used to set-up college accounts for the two children, as well as help with any medical expenses incurred from this bewildering loss.
For those unable to make it out to a location on Friday, contributions can be made at, www.youcaring.com/josh-pritt-655666.
