Dutch Bros Dixon donates $7,500 for the memorial funds of two teen-aged boys

DIXON, Calif. (April 10, 2019) Dutch Bros Dixon raised $7,500 Friday, April 5 for the families of two teen-aged boys who were electrocuted and died in a tragic accident while trying to rescue a dog from a canal near Dixon. Funds raised will be shared between the families of 17-year-old Jacob Hourmouzus and 17-year-old Jacob Schneider.

 

“We are honored to help raise funds for the families of Jacob Schneider and Jacob Hourmouzus,” said Sean Provost, owner of Dutch Bros Dixon. “Our community came out strong to help these two families in such a difficult time, and we’re grateful for their support.”

 

On the day of the fundraiser, Dutch Bros Dixon donated $1 from every drink purchased. The funds raised will directly benefit the memorial funds of both boys.
