Dutch Bros Coos Bay to Partner With Kairos on Mental Health Awareness Day

June 5, 2017

COOS BAY, Ore. (June 5, 2017) – On Friday, June 9, Dutch Bros Coos Bay and North Bend locations will donate $1 from every drink sold to Kairos, a local nonprofit organization that provides mental health services and support for children and young adults in the community.

In addition to the $1 donation from every drink sold, Dutch Bros is also offering a loyalty card with nine of the ten stamps needed for a free drink, with every large drink purchased.

"Kairos is honored and privileged to partner with Dutch Bros to promote mental health awareness and education in Coos County," said Mary Lynne DeRocher, Kairos Development Director.

"More than ever we are gaining understanding of the underlying causes of mental health challenges faced by young people and families, and what we can do to help address them. We are greatly appreciative of the opportunity to share this understanding and to provide supports and services in the community," said Bob Lieberman, Kairos CEO.

Kairos collaborates with young people, families, and communities to provide intensive mental health services they support, promote mental wellness, and instill hope. Kairos offers a number of programs that meet immediate, short-term, crisis-initiated needs, as well as longer-term options to address a youth or young adult's mental health concerns.

Kairos will be setting up an information booth at the Dutch Bros location at 149 S. 7th Street, in Coos Bay. Dutch Bros Coos Bay and North Bend will donate $1 from every drink sold to Kairos, and customers will receive a nine-stamp loyalty card with the purchase of every large drink. Dutch Bros North Bend is located at 940 Virginia Street. Dutch Bros Coos Bay has two locations, one at 149 S. 7th Street, and the other at 843 S. 1st Street.
