KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (Nov. 22, 2016) – On Tuesday, Nov. 29, Dutch Bros Klamath Falls will support the St. Baldrick’s Foundation by donating $1 from every large drink sold to the organization, as well as hook up its community with a 9-stamp card with every large drink purchased.
As the largest private funder of childhood cancer research grants, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation believes kids are special and deserve to be treated that way. St. Baldrick’s funds are granted to some of the most brilliant childhood cancer research experts in the world, as well as to innovative explorers who bring with them the promise of a future free from childhood cancers.
“St. Baldrick’s is excited to join forces with Dutch Bros Klamath Falls on ‘Giving Tuesday’ and raise money for childhood cancer research,” says Kathleen Ruddy, St. Baldrick’s CEO. “At St. Baldrick’s, we work hard to fund the best research, including institutions in Oregon, to ensure that every child can live the long and happy childhood they deserve. We thank Dutch Bros and the Klamath Falls community for their support and dedication to help us in our mission.”
“Giving Tuesday” is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration, where Dutch Bros Klamath Falls will donate $1 from every large drink sold to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. Funds from the day will directly benefit the nonprofit as they look to conquer childhood cancers.
“I am super thankful for the opportunity to giveback to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation and support the fight of finding a cure for childhood cancer,” said Dutch Bros Klamath Falls local owner, Kristen Von Tersch.
To encourage community involvement, as well as show customers how much they are appreciated, Dutch Bros Klamath Falls will offer customers a 9-stamp loyalty card with every large drink purchased on that day.
