PHOENIX, Ariz. (July 10, 2017) – Dutch Bros locations in the greater Phoenix area will partner with RyanHouse on Friday, July 14 and donate $1 from every drink sold to this local nonprofit.
Ryan House is a nonprofit organization that offers children with life-limiting conditions world-class respite and end-of-life care. This organization came into fruition to honor Ryan, who was born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. After receiving palliative and respite care at Helen House in England, the family knew there was a need for this special care in the United States.
The unique services Ryan House provides, enables Arizona's most medically fragile children the ability to participate in fun activities while they receive the special care they need in a comfortable, welcoming environment…one that feels like home.
“The community funds the care at Ryan House 100 percent,” said Ryan House Executive Director Alyssa Crockett. “We provide all services at no cost to families, so we are especially grateful to Dutch Bros for their generous and creative efforts to share Ryan House with their valued customers. Each dollar donated honors the love and courage of Arizona children with life-threatening conditions and their families.”
On Friday, July 14, all 19 Dutch Bros locations in the greater Phoenix-area will donate $1 from every drink sold to Ryan House. Proceeds will support Ryan House as they continue to be a light in the lives of children and their families as they navigate through difficult times.
"Our goals are more than just raising money for Ryan House; we also want to help put a spotlight on this amazing organization,” said Caleb Berkey, Dutch Bros West Valley owner. “They deserve more opportunities like this in the greater Phoenix Valley, and we hope that this day will raise significant awareness and interest for their future."
