Dutch Bros Greater Phoenix Raises More Than $17,000 for St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance

November 22, 2017

PHOENIX, Ariz. (Nov. 22, 2017) – On Tuesday, Nov. 14, all Dutch Bros locations in Phoenix, Peoria, Goodyear and Surprise donated a portion of the proceeds from each drink sold, and raised $17,122 for the St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance.

“We are so grateful for the tremendous support shown for St. Mary’s cause by all of our fans, and quite frankly, we couldn’t have done it without you,” said Josh Hayes, General Manager of Dutch Bros Phoenix. Thank you for helping put food on the tables of so many hungry individuals in the Phoenix area for the upcoming holiday.

The St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance is the world’s first food bank; started in 1967 by John van Hengel in Phoenix. In 2017 they celebrate their 50th anniversary, and also the one-billionth meal distributed. Each year they provide enough food for more than 250,000 meals a day to the hungry in Arizona.

A portion of the proceeds from each drink sold at Dutch Bros Phoenix, Peoria, Goodyear, Gilbert and Surprise locations on Tuesday Nov. 14 was donated to the St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance. The funds will directly benefit St. Mary’s Thanksgiving Fund Drive, which provides holiday meals for children, families and seniors throughout the Phoenix Area.
