Dutch Bros Fresno Raising Funds for Central Valley Veterans Honor Flight

November 6, 2017

FRESNO, Calif. (Nov. 6, 2017) – On Saturday, Nov. 11, all Dutch Bros Fresno locations will celebrate Veterans Day by donating $1 from every drink sold to the Central Valley Honor Flight, a local organization that sends World War II and Korean War veterans to see their memorials in Washington D.C.

Central Valley Honor Flight was founded in 2013 by an all-volunteer group. Over the past four years, they have sent nearly 800 World War II and Korean War Veterans to Washington D.C., to see their memorials. 100% of donations to CVHF are spent on flights, lodging, transportation and food for the veterans on their trip. This allows it to be completely cost free for all the veterans who are able to attend the trip.

“We are so excited to be able to donate to such an amazing organization! After learning about the Central Valley Honor Flight Foundation we knew we wanted to be able to donate in the most impactful way we could,” said Genesis Wilson, owner of Dutch Bros Fresno. “By doing a giveback day we are hoping to not only give a monetary donation but to be able to spread more awareness and information about the Central Valley Honor Flight. Being able to give back to those that have given so much to this country humbles us and we hope they enjoy this awesome journey!.”

On Saturday Nov. 11, in honor of Veterans Day, Dutch Bros Fresno will donate $1 from each drink sold to the Central Valley Honor Flight. 100% of the proceeds donated will go directly to the cost of sending WWII and Korean War veterans to Washington D.C., commemorating their sacrifices and honoring their service.
