Dutch Bros Fairfield Raised Over $1,600 For The American Cancer Societies Relay For Life

June 29, 2017

FAIRFIELD, Calif. (June 28, 2017) – On Monday, June 19, Dutch Bros Fairfield, located at 1420 W. Texas St., donated $1 from every drink sold to the Fairfield-Suisun-Travis AFB Relay For Life.

“Thank you to the community of Fairfield,” said Kayleigh Slover, owner of Dutch Bros Fairfield. “Together we were able to raise $1,650 for our local Relay For Life. We are honored to be a part of this community!”

Relay For Life is the largest event of the year for the American Cancer Society. It is exclusively by volunteers, and it takes place over a six to twenty-four hour period.

According to the American Cancer Societies website, “Relay is a team fundraising event where team members take turns walking around a track or designated path. Each event is 6-24 hours in length and each team is asked to have a member on the track at all times to signify that cancer never sleeps. Cancer patients don't stop because they're tired, and for one night, neither do we.”

The funds raised by Dutch Bros Fairfield will directly benefit the American Cancer Society and their efforts to make a global impact on cancer.
