LAS VEGAS, Nev. (Jan. 26, 2017) – On Friday, Jan. 20, Dutch Bros East Vegas partnered with its community to raise $8,350 for Lindsey Wilkinson to help offset medical expenses.
Local mom and involved community member, Lindsey Wilkinson, is in critical condition after a severe car accident. Lindsey, a member of the Air Force Reserve and a recent graduate from nursing school, is on the road to recovery.
“We knew this day was going to be special because Lindsey is such a special person, but we didn’t anticipate how much this community was going to come together to support one of their own,” said local owner, Kelli Nimmer.
To raise funds, Dutch Bros East Vegas donated proceeds from the day’s sales. The stand also provided on-site donation buckets for community members who wanted to donate more. Funds will support Lindsey with medical expenses.
“It is our hope that with this donation Lindsey and her family can focus on healing, and that Lindsey truly feels all the love and support that she deserves,” said Kelli. “We can’t thank everyone enough for their support and for showing their ‘Luv for Lindsey!‘”
